Simon specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Gadens, Simon was a Senior Associate at a national firm, and spent 18 months at a global firm in their London and Dubai offices.

Simon acts on behalf of a number of national and international corporations in large, complex domestic and cross border disputes. He offers expertise in the resolution of disputed commercial contracts or arrangements and regularly advises clients across various industries, particularly telecommunications, wagering and casinos, entertainment, finance and government.

Recognised as a leading dispute resolution practitioner, Simon provides strategic advice to boards and individuals in relation to corporate governance issues including takeovers and has also led a number of recent shareholder class actions. He is regularly involved in a number of high profile and complex matters, including the Quintis Shareholder Class Action and the Royal Commission into the Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry. The clients Simon regularly acts for include Tabcorp Limited, Nike, The Star Sydney, Optus, Bapcor Limited, Flight Centre Limited and Cleanaway Waste Management Ltd.

In 2014 and 2015, Simon was the recipient of the Client Choice Award, in which he was nominated as the exclusive winner of the Litigation category in Australia.

He is also recognised as a Best Lawyer in International Arbitration and Litigation by Best Lawyers Australia.
