Renae has expertise in debt finance (both secured and unsecured) for acquisition and corporate transactions, real estate investment and development projects.

Renae works across the full range of corporate and institutional debt finance transactions, advising banks, insurers and alternative lenders, corporate borrowers, private equity houses, asset managers and property developers. Her expertise covers a number of industries including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, funds management and property investment and development.

Renae has extensive expertise in real estate investment and development finance origination and restructuring, in addition to her experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional lending and negotiated work-outs and restructurings.

Prior to joining Gadens, Renae spent almost five years at another leading Australian law firm and over a decade working for the pre-eminent banking and finance practice in London advising on a range of complex financing transactions across the UK and Europe.

Renae’s strength is her collaborative approach and her trusted adviser mind set. She is respected by clients and other lawyers alike.

Renae regularly leverages her extensive depth of knowledge and expertise to think outside the square and provide advice and innovative solutions to navigate obstacles which arise on financing transactions.

Renae is also the lead Sydney Partner in matters of firm administration and management.
