Michael specialises in commercial litigation. He regularly acts for clients in a range of disputes relating to corporate control, director duties, commercial contracts, complex trusts, misleading or deceptive conduct, professional negligence, property (both real and intellectual), construction, and workplace relations. He also acts for insurers and insured parties.

Michael thrives in high stakes litigation and has particular expertise in highly publicised disputes that concern reputational risk.

Priding himself on his creativity, attention to detail and litigation strategy, Michael has been awarded several industry accolades, including recognition as a Rising Star (Australasian Lawyer, 2024) and a finalist in Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 (2019 and 2020).
