James is a Special Counsel within Gadens’ Property Group.

James specialises predominantly in commercial and retail leasing and the acquisition and disposal of commercial, retail and industrial properties.

James has particular expertise in lease drafting and negotiations, acting for major institutional clients in respect of their leasing portfolios. He also has considerable experience negotiating acquisition and disposal contracts and vendor and purchaser due diligence, having acted on a number of high profile commercial and retail transactions for major national clients.

Having practiced in both Queensland and New South Wales, James has a broad range of property experience with a largely commercial focus.
