Guillaume specialises in resolving tax disputes and complex tax regulator engagements. He has assisted a wide range of taxpayers with managing complex or disputed engagements with both the ATO and the various states’ and territories’ revenue offices.
His expertise spans from voluntary disclosures and early investigation processes, through formal audits, objections and internal reviews, to tribunal and court proceedings.
Guillaume’s expertise also extends to resolving tax related controversies. This includes complex debt recovery matters (including in the context of Director Penalty Notices), tax related professional liability claims and disciplinary matters, and managing simultaneous regulator engagements in multiple jurisdictions.
Before qualifying as an Australian solicitor, Guillaume originally graduated the Bar School of Paris, and completed a Master of Laws (Taxation) from the Université Paris Cité. His French-Australian dual qualification brings a unique perspective to his practice.
