Gadens has advised DKSH on its acquisitions of Australian agrochemicals distributor SACOA, and leading Australian healthcare professional engagement company, Hahn Healthcare. These acquisitions support DKSH’s strategy to offer wide market coverage across the Asia Pacific region.
DKSH is a Market Expansion Services provider operating globally and across four business units (Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Performance Materials and Technology). Through these business units, DKSH offer sourcing, market insights, marketing and sales, eCommerce and logistics.
The Gadens Corporate team, led by Ted Nixey, advised DKSH on all aspects of these acquisitions, with the support of Hazel McDwyer on all IP matters and Brett Feltham navigating employment related components of the transactions.
“These acquisitions are core to the expanding presence of DKSH in the Asia-Pacific market, and we are proud to be supporting the DKSH team in bringing their strategic growth vision for this region to life,” commented Ted Nixey, Gadens partner who led the team.
The acquisition of SACOA is an expansion of DKSH’s Performance Materials business in Australia and will allow DKSH to further diversify its value added service offering in this space. The acquisition of Hahn Healthcare is an expansion of DKSH’s Healthcare business in Australia. Founded in 1993, Hahn Healthcare has built a blue-chip pharma and consumer health client portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.
Deal significance: Expanding on DKSH’s presence in Asia Pacific with two significant acquisitions, solely led by Gadens.
