Our product development has culminated in Gadens Portfolio Solutions (GPS). GPS is a suite of online business-to-business programs, legal analysis and management tools that offer a new generation method of conducting and managing high-volumes of transactions.

A major component of these systems is their fast, efficient and cost effective processing of large-volume transactions – such as mortgage and debt recovery transactions, retail and commercial leases and conveyancing. GPS is used by many of our property and banking clients as an intuitive and natural interface for managing clusters of similar transactions, better analysing portfolio performance, managing emerging risks, and identifying trends across their portfolios. GPS is also used by other law firms in conducting legal work and managing workflows for clients in the property and financial services sectors.

Our use of technology across a range of matters also enhances the transfer of knowledge from our lawyers to our clients’ businesses. The use of technology to manage legal matters directly enhances risk management, facilitates secure client access and permits sophisticated reporting options.

The current systems within the GPS suite of products includes:

• GPS Leasing – Facilitates the online instruction and management of retail, commercial and industrial leases. GPS Leasing gives clients the control and ability to track the progress of all leasing matters and instructions. Accessible via a secure web portal, the system records and houses valuable information about an organisation’s leases and the lease production and management process.
• GPS Lending – Provides clients with a ‘one stop shop’ for the management and tracking of all residential and commercial lending transactions. It is currently used to provide efficient and consistent standard loan documentation for a number of major banks and lenders across Australia. GPS Lending’s workflows ensures up to date status reporting for lenders and brokers, allowing lenders to better manage their customer experience and expectations.
• GPS Recoveries – Facilitates the recovery of mortgage arrears and mortgage enforcement as well as unsecured debt. Using Google Maps technology, GPS Recoveries’ complex workflows provides national tracking and reporting on the progress and performance of debt recovery matters, online and in real-time. It is used by many of our financial services clients to manage their secured and unsecured debt portfolios.
• GPS Settlements – An online development and conveyancing portal and contract administration system that streamlines the record keeping, progress reporting and completion of multiple off-the-plan sales. GPS Settlements facilitates real time collection of sales data, progress of sales and provides a platform for stakeholders including developers, agents, financiers and other representatives to access and utilise. Our developer clients use GPS Settlements to extract reports showing specific details and progress of sales and settlements and access relevant sales documentation.
