Ben is an experienced planning, environment and local government lawyer who practices in New South Wales and Queensland.
Ben has extensive experience acting for local councils, property developers and citizens in civil and criminal litigation, and has provided planning, environmental and local government law advice since 2007.
Ben has appeared as a prosecutor for local councils and acted for defendants in criminal prosecutions for breaches of planning, environmental and local government law; and acted for property developers, local councils and citizens in a broad range of planning appeals, judicial review & civil enforcement proceedings.
He has also advised on a broad range of legal issues including the interpretation and application of environmental, local government and planning legislation & statutory controls; development applications & compliance; enforcement powers; development control orders; and environmental protection matters.
In 2023, Ben was recognised in the Doyle’s Guide as a Planning & Environment Law Rising Star in Queensland.
