The critical component of the Thales solution is a highly robust ‘CipherTrust Manager’ that handles all the encryption key management, and access to those keys, in a highly redundant manner. This allows data to be encrypted on disk without the risk of losing access to it. Access to the keys and the data can be managed with a high degree of granularity. This is critical to supporting security operations performance at Gadens.
