Andrea specialises in planning and environment matters, and has extensive experience in running large and complex planning and environment litigation relating to development and regulatory approvals, the rezoning of land and compulsory acquisition claims. She is particularly skilled at managing large teams of expert witnesses.

Andrea’s advisory experience includes planning and environment due diligence in connection with large scale property and corporate transactions, including providing advice on contaminated land, heritage issues, native vegetation offsets and development contributions.

Andrea’s expertise also extends to general property and commercial litigation matters, which relate to the development of land – including subdivision structuring and staging, restrictive covenants, land use management agreements and owners’ corporation disputes.

Her unique skill set enables her to be involved in the entire life cycle of a project – from acquisition to completion. This holistic understanding of the development cycle allows her to assist clients to deal with planning and environment issues in a proactive and pre-emptive way at the outset of a project.

Andrea is currently a committee member of the Property Council of Australia’s Planning & Infill Development Committee and was also a previous participant in the PCA’s Women in Property Program, which identifies emerging female talent in the property industry.
