News | Gadens signs on as Gold Coast Marathon legal partner

Gadens has become the official legal partner of the Gold Coast Marathon. The Gold Coast Marathon is Australia’s leading marathon and is staged annually on the first Saturday and Sunday in July.

“We are delighted to partner with Gadens,” Events Management Queensland CEO Cameron Hart said.

“They have an excellent reputation for providing legal services and a firm that is respected for its community focus.”

Gold Coast Marathon ambassador Pat Carroll, who has won the event a record four times, was on hand for the partnership announcement. Carroll won the event in 1984 (time of 2:23:16), 1985 (2:17:10), 1988 (2:10:44) and 1997 (2:11:21).

The world-class international marathon will attract 28,000 participants this year of all ages and abilities from over 50 countries across eight races including the Gold Coast Marathon, Wheelchair Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon, Wheelchair 15km, Southern Cross University 10km Run, Gold Coast Airport Fun Run, Garmin 4km Junior Dash and Garmin 2km Junior Dash.

The Gold Coast Marathon, an IAAF Gold Label Road Race, is the pinnacle of road running events in Australia and during its 40-year history has distinguished itself as one of the most prestigious marathons in the world.
