Stafford is a Special Counsel in the Planning and Environment team in Brisbane. His widespread expertise includes town planning, environment, heritage, coastal, vegetation and contamination matters with a focus on major development and infrastructure projects. These include mixed use developments, master planned residential communities, road and water infrastructure.

He acts for a broad range of clients including property owners, developers, councils and the Queensland Government on approval, compliance, enforcement and appeal issues, as well as facilitating and negotiating project delivery. Stafford also represents a wide range of private and institutional clients on land valuation and land acquisition and resumption issues.

In addition to being a qualified lawyer, Stafford holds qualifications in planning, environmental management and public administration.
