Jennifer is a senior employment and industrial relations lawyer with over ten years of experience advising and acting for both public and private sector clients across a broad range of industries.

She provides comprehensive and strategic legal advice on all aspects of the employment relationship, from recruitment to termination. In doing so, she develops a thorough understanding of her clients’ businesses to deliver tailored, practical and solutions-oriented advice.

Jennifer has extensive expertise and experience conducting complex employment and industrial related litigation in both Courts and tribunals, including defending general protections, unfair dismissal, bullying and discrimination claims, and disputes regarding compliance with industrial instruments and the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (FW Act).

Jennifer also has specific expertise in regulatory work and has prosecuted contraventions of the FW Act, industrial instruments and compliance notices (including contraventions involving accessorial liability). This provides her with unique perspective when advising corporate clients on workplace compliance matters.

In addition to her litigation experience, she regularly advises corporate clients on a broad range of matters including enterprise agreement making, managing workplace change and restructuring, terminations, training, employment policies and contracts (including executive employment contracts, secondment and contractor agreements). Jennifer also regularly advises clients on compliance matters including award and enterprise agreement interpretation, as well as complex grievance and industrial matters.
