Gadens has acted for Tim Roberts-Thomson’s TRT Pastoral Group in relation to its acquisition of the 6,786ha Kind Island aggregation from the Sustainable Agriculture Fund, one of the largest property sales of King Island’s history. Gadens was engaged to provide advice on all aspects of the acquisition.

Deal significance: The acquisition of the King Island aggregation, comprising of 6785ha of cattle breeding and finishing systems in addition to a herd of over 14,000 cattle is documented as one of the largest sales ever recorded for King Island. Last year, the aggregation was recognised in the top 10% of producers in terms of meat quality.
